Tadpole is keeping us in suspense. Due date is tomorrow, but signs of labor have begun….just not gone into full swing. Yesterday I had contractions all day getting as close as ten minutes apart during the afternoon. As evening drew close, things calmed down a bit but continued through the night, waking me every half hour or so. Brian woke up several times with me and offered support and encouragement as I waited them out and then dropped back to sleep.
About 6:00 this morning I decided trying to sleep wasn’t working so we got up and went for a walk, again getting things to around ten minutes apart. I ate a good breakfast and Brian stayed home – both wondering if this would be it! By lunch time though all was back to normal. The long day yesterday and last night plus the disappointment has me kind of worn out. I could use your prayers.
“Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary….He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength….But they that WAIT upon the Lord shall renew their strength…”
