Lance and I made this for Father’s Day.
I took an idea from a poem and sort of rewrote it:
My little feet are moving fast
Your footprints are the ones I see
Walk a little slower, Daddy,
For you are leading me.
I’m following in your footsteps
and I don’t want to fall.
Let the Lord direct your path
Walk and obey His call.
Someday when I am all grown up,
You’re what I want to be;
Then I will have a little child
Who’ll want to follow me.
And I would want to lead just right,
To keep his feet from sin;
Walk a life like Christ, Daddy,
So I’ll be led to Him.
