Our early Christmas present – a beautiful baby and a week with just the three of us.

Lance hangs up snowflakes, a spur of the moment project that proved quite popular. Lance really likes to decorate and has put up lights and things in his room too.

Enjoying peaceful mornings with hot tea, advent readings and a precious new one.

Peace, yes, this new one is so peaceful and her coming brings rest to a body stretched large and now delivered.

Jesus, the light of the world, comes as a baby. His family tree, though cluttered with the sinful and the ulgy points all the way back to his loving Father and the beginning of time.

Come, let us adore him!

Aunt Katie with her namesake. Iris is “Wild about her Auntie” and the llama fur lined shoes her Aunt brought back from Peru.

Brother and sisters gather ‘round. Little does Iris know what kind of circus she has joined!

Lance enjoys his first close encounter with his newest sister. His comment was “her hands are so tiny.” Lance has quite the job with so many sisters to look after!

Ivy and Flora welcome Iris – Eden wants a turn too!

Finally left to herself, Iris takes a short recovery nap.
